I kid you not, one of my biggest achievements of 2021 was helping my 7-year-old nephew plant beans in a plastic bottle for his school assignment.

It’s that horrible. If you’re here for big digits and achievements, dead that thought here and now.

But not to be a total sucker:

These Things May Look Like Achievements

Graduating from UNILAG: well, maybe it’s a big deal, considering I tried dropping out in year 2 and basically stopped being a student in year 1. Let’s not talk about what Thanos did to my CGPA. Instead, help me thank God for life.

I was very particular about increasing my professional network and I think I did a little bit of that this year. Met a lot of amazing people and job posting on Discord. I didn’t reach out to these people and didn’t apply for those jobs. E get why. I’ll tell you in December 2022. My LinkedIn also went from 100 to 0. I didn’t post anything there for like 11 straight months. Maybe it’s laziness, maybe it’s the stress of juggling multiple research works.

Hopefully, new people I got to relate with online will be willing to meet up physically in 2022.

One of the few things I’m really proud of was the fact that I spent a lot of time and energy on upskilling towards the end of the year. Got 6 certificates this year. Not too shabby😊. If only I can eat ‘em.

Lastly, I wrote a lot of high-quality articles on my newsletter, Medium and other places. In’ 22, I’ll do more.

Total Bullocks and Other Big Ls of 2021

Money, I dinnor make😭. My Yahoo Boys pals 257861 vs 0 Me.

We go again next year🚀
